Cementing Futures would like to say a big Thank You to the Oxford Soroptimist club who held a fundraising event on our behalf at the award winning Aziz Restaurant, Cowley Road, Oxford.

Mr Aziz who already supports other educational projects in Bangladesh laid on an evening of traditional Bengali food. The evening was made more special by the entertainment provided by Bengali dancers.

Members of Cementing Futures gave a presentation at the event wearing authentic dress which added to the overall Asian feel of the evening.

Local Soroptimist members met up at the Forest Spice Restaurant in Pokesdown, Bournemouth for an evening of delicious Bangladeshi Food and a superb Sari Tying Demonstration’ all in aid of “Cementing Futures”. (more…)
